FESTIVAL WEEKEND KICKOFF sponsored by National Urban League

National Urban League is throwing down for their special Essence Festival kick-off, in honor of their supporters and affiliate organizations like Courage Over Cancer.

General Admission for the evening is a donate-what-you-can model, with all entry donations going directly to Courage Over Cancer, a local organization that designs and gifts high-end supply boxes for individuals undergoing cancer treatment at one of New Orleans’ premier hospital groups. 

The evening features an incomparable performance by Two-Time Grammy Award Winner Irvin Mayfield and his Music Church Choir.
